DIY Marquees contracted local company Helios Energy to install a 4KW solar panel system in January 2016 to help reduce our environmental impact. This renewable system has saved 1.5 tonnes per annum in CO2 emissions. Full article here
We only use energy providers who provide 100% renewable electricity.
All of the pallets we buy in are recycled. We also use biodegradable pallet wrap to wrap our marquees sent out on pallets in efforts to reduce single-use plastics.
All paper used in the office & for instruction manuals sent out with our marquees is recycled.
Most of our employees live locally and either walk or cycle to work. Those who drive either drive hybrid or electric cars.
