Capacity Guide: How many people fit in a 3x18m?

Choosing the right size is essential for guest comfort. A 3x18m marquee provides 54 square metres of floor space. As a general rule of thumb for this footprint:

• Standing Reception: Up to 75–90 guests.
• Seated (Round Tables): 30–60 guests (allowing for circular tables and service space).
• Seated (Trestle Tables): Up to 27–54 guests in a traditional long-table layout.
• Buffet & Dance Floor: If you require a dance floor and buffet station, we recommend a maximum of 38–45 seated guests to maintain a spacious feel.

Commercial Marquee Framework (Advanced Specification)

The Commercial range upgrades the structural integrity for unpredictable weather and frequent assembly. It introduces a full perimeter ground bar system to lock the legs in place, alongside integrated roof braces to protect against high winds and rain accumulation.

Best For: Marquee hire companies, venues, and customers requiring a heavy-duty setup left up for longer durations.

Professional 2.3m Tall Framework (Maximum Headspace)

While there isn't a Deluxe frame option for our 3m models, we offer this specialized **2.3m leg height** variant. It features all of the robust structural benefits of our Commercial frame—including ground bars and roof braces—but elevates the leg clearance to 2.3m (reaching a 3.2m total apex), giving a grander feel and room for lighting and staging equipment.

Best For: Premium events requiring extra headspace, internal staging, lighting rigs, or matching up to taller doors/structures.

Which PVC Specification Should You Choose?

All of our PVC covers are 100% waterproof, rip-stop, flame retardant, and feature seamless high-frequency welded seams. The key difference between each option is weight and overall thickness.

Our entry-level 380gsm PVC is extremely manageable, making assembly and handling significantly easier. Despite its thinner gauge, it remains heavy-duty, 100% waterproof, rip-stop, flame retardant, and high-frequency welded for complete climate protection.

500gsm PVC Covers (Commercial Specification)
