Capacity Guide: How many people fit in a 6x30m?

Choosing the right size is essential for guest comfort. A 6x30m marquee provides 180 square metres of floor space. As a general rule of thumb for this footprint:

• Standing Reception: Up to 248–299 guests.
• Seated (Round Tables): 99–200 guests (allowing for circular tables and service space).
• Seated (Trestle Tables): Up to 90–180 guests in a traditional long-table layout.
• Buffet & Dance Floor: If you require a dance floor and buffet station, we recommend a maximum of 126–149 seated guests to maintain a spacious feel.

Our entry-level Classic range features a robust 38mm/42mm galvanized steel pipe framework and built-in roof braces to prevent water pooling. It is purposefully designed without ground bars or eaves braces to remain lightweight, highly portable, and budget-friendly. Ground bars, eaves braves and gable uprights can be purchased as an optional extra.

Best For: Occasional summer garden parties, short-term residential use, and sheltered outdoor spaces.

Commercial Marquee Framework (Advanced Specification)

The Commercial range upgrades the structure for unpredictable weather and frequent assembly. While keeping the 38mm/42mm steel tubing, it adds critical structural reinforcements: a full perimeter ground bar system, corner eaves braces, and vertical gable uprights to prevent wind bowing.

Best For: Marquee hire companies, schools, pubs, and venues requiring a heavy-duty structure for year-round events.

Deluxe Marquee Framework (Ultimate Industrial Specification)

For ultimate peace of mind, our Deluxe range offers commercial-grade durability. It features massively upgraded 50mm/54mm thick steel pipes and additional leg braces. Crucially, the Deluxe range features a taller 2.35m leg height (providing a grander 3.4m apex clearance), making it ideal for staging, lighting rigs, and premium events.

Best For: Severe weather exposure, long-term winter installations, and premium events requiring extra headspace.
